Business Exchange

USAA's Business Exchange, formerly Reverse Trade Show, has been held virtually the last few years. We are excited to re-introduce this event, in person, so our members may have quality face to face time together and make meaningful, impactful connections. As you may know, the USAA is an affiliate member of the National Apartment Association (NAA), and as part of that membership, we support the NAA Political Action Committee (NAAPAC). The NAAPAC is part of the overall advocacy efforts supporting industry initiatives at the federal level of government. This event is the biggest bolster to our NAAPAC fundraising goal. Last year's event helped us meet our PAC goal for the entire year due to the overwhelming number of participants, and we hope to meet or exceed that this year! PAC dollars are used as donations to the campaigns of members of Congress who have demonstrated support for industry-related legislation or initiatives. The USAA Government Affairs Committee held meetings in 2024 with each of the members of Congress who serve our members. Co-sponsorships from each representative supporting industry-related legislation were obtained from those meetings, including the Respect State Housing Laws Act, which would end the 30-day CARES Act notice for covered properties. Your participation would help incentivize more supplier partners to participate, generate more funding, and allow meetings such as these to continue.
