About Steve Matre
Steve Matre brings thirty years of experience in operations, accounting, training, marketing, revenue management, and human resources. Steve's held leadership positions in various disciplines at Redwood Residential, Mandel Group, Banner Property Management, and Sherman Residential. A graduate in Finance and English from the University of Wisconsin, Steve is a CPA, CPM, ARM, and PHR. Steve gives back through national and local apartment association board and committee activities, university advisory boards, and as a speaker and thought leader. He was recognized in 2020 as one of Crain’s Notable HR Leaders and in 2018 as CPM of the Year by IREM’s Chicago chapter.
