Damage Assessment tool in the SC Emergency Manager app to notify authorities.

Two Locations Are Open to Provide Food and Water to Residents in Oconee County As the Upstate Continues to Deal with the Impact of Helene.The Golden Corner Food Pantry Will Begin Distribution in Mountain Rest and Salem Tuesday Through Friday, October 4.The Locations and Times Distribution Will Be Available Is Below:

  • Mountain Rest Community Club, 120 Verner Mill Road, Mountain Rest
    • Tuesday Through Friday, 9 A.M. to 12 P.M.
  • Salem Fire Department Parking Lot, 115 East Main Street, Salem
    • Tuesday Through Friday, 10 A.M. to 1 P.M.

Organizations and Agencies Have Announced Locations Where Food Will Be Distributed in the Upstate After Tropical Storm Helene.

Spartanburg County

  • Spartanburg County School District Two with partner with Chartwells on Tuesday, Oct. 1 to provide hot meals at no cost at Shoally Creek Elementary beginning at 11:30 a.m.-2 p.m., or until supplies last.
    • During this time, anyone is welcome to come and eat. The district asks that guests come through the bus loop which leads to the cafeteria area. Visitors can dine in or come in and wrap a plate to go.
  • Spartanburg County School District Five is offering free meals on Tuesday, Oct. 1 at Byrnes High School at 150 East Main Street, Duncan from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Greenville County

  • On Tuesday, bottled water and ready-to-eat meals are being distributed this week by Greenville County at 35 E. Antrim Drive at McAllister Square. The distribution site will be available from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

  • Harvest Hope stated that their Emergency Food Pantry at 2818 White Horse Road, Greenville is open and ready to assist families affected by the storm. Anyone with questions can call (864) 281-3995.

  • Harris Teeter announced that the store will be providing free bottled water and ice to residents in the Greenville Area beginning at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, October 1st. Community members will receive a 24-pack of bottled water and bags of ice (two-limit per household) at the following locations:

    • Lewis Plaza – 1720 Augusta St Greenville

    • Northpointe – 100 Wade Hampton Blvd Greenville

    • Hudson Corners – 2145 Old Spartanburg Rd Greer

  • A meal is to be provided on Wednesday, October 2nd, by Upstate Circle of Friends in Greenville County’s District 25 to district families struggling with the aftermath of the hurricane. This one-way drive-through pick-up line entrance begins at 29 Ridgeway Drive, Greenville, SC 29605, and will begin serving at 3 p.m. until supplies last on a first-come, first-served basis.

Anderson County

  • Anderson School District Three will have Flat Rock Elementary and Iva Elementary open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday where families can stop by and charge devices. Free food will also be served at these locations from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

  • Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina will be at Jockey Lot in Anderson County on Friday, Oct. 4, executing a free food distribution.

Pickens County

  • Tuesday, October 1, Clemson University said Littlejohn Coliseum will be opening again from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. to provide students and community members with free food, drinks, ice, showers and charging stations.
